Heritage engines

Our engineers have been working on what are now classed as heritage engines since the early 90’s. Galvin Marine Engineering are one of the few remaining companies in the UK with the knowledge and experience to repair and overhaul Ruston, Mirrlees Blackstone and Nohab Polar medium speed engines.

Although these engines are not as common as they once were, we still get contacted to attend pumping stations, drilling rigs and power plants worldwide to support these products with service and routine overhaul as well as offering breakdown response and technical support. We have a wide range of global contacts we can engage with for the supply of parts and specialised tooling.
